FOOTLOOSE opened tonight!
The show was absolutely fantastic. And what's even more important: the audience was so energetic that we fed off their responses and made it 1000 times better. They were cheering in the MIDDLE of songs, and laughing so loudly in all the right places, which caused the rest of us to jump around excitedly like fools backstage because it was just... brilliant.
Having to pause after a line because people are clapping, laughing and whooping is an amazing feeling. I just hope the grin on my face looked like I meant to do that, haha.
It's sad to think that in less than 24 hours, it'll all be over. Well, that's not true, the cast party will be going strong, lol, but everything we've worked for since September will have paid off. We have two shows tomorrow and it's gonna be a long but incredibly rewarding day.
I wish you guys were here to celebrate with me, I miss you all so much.
