Wow, I'm very good at keeping my journal up to date, aren't I?
It was mine and Darren's 3rd Valentines yesterday and it was wonderful. Because of school, we couldn't really plan anything ahead of a time for the day, so we decided to kind of wing it.
We watched the movie The Pursuit of Happyness while eating lunch and it was before we took Darren's dog to the dog park. It was funny watching him because he's not used to being around other dogs and he got anxious every time a dog sniffed his ass, which happened a lot. Then it didn't turn out pretty as he got into a fight with one of the bigger dogs. Kind of embarrassing too, actually. But no one got hurt, thankfully.
After all that, since we're such gaming nerds, we couldn't go through a day without playing a game of something. So we played The Simpsons on the PS3 and it was awesome. My favorite level was the chocolate world, which was Homer's dream.
Homer: I hope global warming doesn't find out about this place. *eats more chocolate* Nomnomnomnom.
Last night, Darren proposed a candlelight dinner in his backyard. Neither of us felt like cooking, but since I was craving for sushi and Darren wanted tomato beef chow mein, we decided to order take-out from Sushi Cho and Golden Phoenix. It was a really nice dinner. The day was well spent. ^^
