The Ambulance

May 31, 2011 15:54

The Ambulance wailed
announcing its arrival,
telling the World
to give way for its Needs,
It maneuvered
with such Emergence
As if dealing between
Life and Death.

Sometimes it does
hold such struggle in its arms,
--- a child hit by a car, losing so much blood
--- a man having a heart attack, gasping for breath.
--- loved ones crying at the sides.
But more often, it only
carries misuse of power in its womb
--- a driver escaping gridlock
--- an official bragging the siren
--- passengers giddy about the flee

I remember  what you said about
how you are like the ambulance sometimes.
