Happy Thanksgiving!
or whatever you deam to call it- there can be so many different names.
I have today off (yay), but have to work tomorrow and I had to work yesterday. So, I'm here at my flat in Troy because I didn't feel like wearing myself out driving to and from Cairo in what would amount to one day with my only break being to eat at my parent's house. Everyone is disappointed, but also understands.
However, I have made it my goal to start getting my final paperwork for my portfolio ready to turn in next week! Go productivity! And speaking of internship stuff- I can't believe the official end date is Tuesday. Wow... seeing that in print is throwing me for a loop. As of Tuesday at 6:00 PM, I will be finished with my final class at Troy University. All I have to deal with then will be the final the next week...then it's Graduation...
*shakes self out of shocked stupor* Anyway, to flashback to my trip to Baton Rouge for a minute. Saturday night we went to dinner at a really good Greek restaurant called Albasha. Unfortunately, Sahara still has it beat, but at least my severe cravings for Greek have been satisfied for a while. After dinner we went to the Barnes & Noble that was nearby. This is the largest bookstore I've ever seen. Two stories; about one and one quarter of that being nothing but books. The other three quarters were cafe, and the music & movies section. I was in awe, but able to limit my purchasing to just one book- Heat Wave.
