Once again I have a late offering, but I'm giving myself credit for even POSTING this, since I was tempted to just forget it and move on to this week's episode when it airs. Still, I wrote the basic notes for this recap by hand while I watched the episode on my friend Lynn's teeny tiny netbook computer in her living room in

I loved this episode! It had references to almost every film noir of a time. The whole way it was shot and framed, the night scenes, all beautiful. I guess that's the thing about perception, because I never saw it as "ripping off" as homage. I found it, for all its creepy weirdness, a fresh change from the straight-up serial killers are srs bzns that is the CM usual.

I love your recapoints so very much, though I find they inspire me to recapoint your recapoints! Though I also notice I get all spammy then. Because each point brings up a new one.

TANGENT (as you would say)

1. What? No X-Files reference?
2. Pie chart FTW! I wonder, though, what constitutes "Other?"
3. I recognized the unsub from Criminal Intent, where he played an unsub, though on that show, they called him a suspect. He killed his wife and dismembered her body then dumped it out of a plane. I prefer this unsub.
4. I loved Steampunk! Homeless guy. His goggles ruled.
5. You completely redeemed your lack of X-Files by the Bonus! inclusion of Golden Girls! Rock!

This is my favorite WTF?!!? pic, mostly because whenever Rossi gets all WTF with the WTFery, he gets crazy eyes that distract from his mom jeans:




Fellow M/R shipper and I carolinecrane wrote a mini comment fic on her lj about the theater scene in which Rossi made Morgan and Prentiss switch seats because Morgan kept putting his hand on Reid's thigh just to make him squirm and blush:

Dismembering your wife and throwing her out an airplane is pretty badass, but not quite as badass as cutting off a girls lips and sewing them onto your dead mother's face.

Thanks for the pics!!! I love Rossi's "WTF" eyebrows of awesome. And LOL at your reasoning for having Morgan and Reid sit in different rows. I can SO picture Reid blushing like that. :D
