I have been waiting for this because very little about this episode made me laugh, and you just did. Make me laugh, I mean.
1. Bonus X-Files Reference FTW! Your cornfield-running skills are only mildly impressing me right now.
This is what I love about your recaps. Just sayin'.
2. I too grumbled a bit about the "no email" thing, but I hand-waved it by assuming Reid meant no personal email. Or something. Of course this all ties into my frustration about inconsistencies about Reid's character altogether. He knows who Souxsie and the Banshees are, but not Twilight (even though one was pretty obscure even in its heyday and the other is a global phenomenon), and have never even heard of Clockwork Orange? Not even the book

Um... do we need to revisit my horrific massacre of the word "plagiarism"??? Or pretty much the entirety of every single one of my recaps??? I think it's safe to say that I know you're not a dummy when it comes to the spoken and/or written word... and vice versa (I hope). Any further self-deprecation in regards to grammar/spelling fail is probably unnecessary, otherwise I'm going to start feeling the need to add a stupidity disclaimer to the end of every single one of my entries!!! :)
Oh, and I didn't even notice the grammar fail anyway. What does that say about ME!? Haha.
I'm sure Spencer could've meant personal e-mail, which is fine, but it still doesn't make sense in the context of the episode: the girl is asking him if he knows what it's like to have lots of messages piling up in your inbox. Having a work e-mail would give him that knowledge just fine. Fail, writers. Fail.
How much do I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you've deemed "Something Terrible" important enough to proper-nounify it. I think you've inadvertently provided me with a potential acronym with which to address Reid's mysterious condition in future recaps. :D
Your reason for persisting... it is the same as mine. Your Reid porn. I loves it. As always.
As for your dad's comments, boy do I have a special treat for you coming up on the "Into the Woods" recap. Let's just say I didn't watch that episode by myself. It was kind of awesome, and soon my viewing companion will be immortalized on my livejournal... without their knowledge.
Also, as I'm feeling confessional, I think I need to admit my Reid obsession has bled into other areas of my life, including my collage journaling (I'm particularly proud of one piece I will scan and send to you one day) and my determination to prove MGG is actually left-handed. Seriously! Have you seen how awkwardly he holds a pen? I can see MGG insisting Reid would be right-handed (he would). Then again, so would Hotch, but Garcia totally fits a lefty personality. Of course, being a lefty myself, I notice these things.
Oooh! Collage journal! Sounds pretty awesome. My friends and I did a collaborative collage journal a few years back. We'd complete a few pages and then pass it on to the next person. T'was fun.
Yes, I've seen how awkwardly Reid holds a pen... not to mention his (MGG's) adorably terrible handwriting:
Okay, I just took a closer look at that whiteboard screencap, and I just can't stop laughing at how bizarre his writing is. He capitalizes random letters, like the T in "meets", but then doesn't in others, like "birth". I also love how the final MOM appears to be entirely capitalized, and how the size of the words just fluctuates at random. A genius, you say? Must be one of those quirks.
And now I'm happy again. :) Don't these two know how easy they are to slash? I detest RPF, but I can understand it when it comes to these two and they way they stand so close to each other.

Sorry. My only excuse is it's coming on finals and my brain needs to be set to rights. Or so we say in the South.

I basically use Twitter for the purpose of stalking MGG. I am not ashamed of this.
