Seriously, this show needs to stop being so good, so that I can focus on school. LOL. It's pretty much a picspam of the entire episode, well all the Ziva/everyone scenes. It's image heavy. I hope everyone enjoys it! =)
P.S. Ignore the banner. I made it in under a minute, so it's not my best work lol.
Ziva: Hello Gibbs. Your door was open.
Gibbs: It usually is.
Ziva: I apologize for being late. The Navy Lodge that I am staying at ran a surprise drill this morning, so I just...it's not important.
Gibbs: How are you?
Ziva: I am fine, Gibbs. That is what I wish to speak to you about amongst other things. First of all, I wanted to say thank you, which hardly seems sufficient, considering so. It is call a---
Gibbs: It's an old Buck mortise chisel.
Ziva: That is not for rescuing me. That is for leaving me in Israel. You're probably wondering, perhaps I rigged it to explode--
Gibbs: No, I was thinking this is a really nice chisel.
Ziva: When you left me in Israel, I felt betrayed, but I had a long time to think about things, very, very, long time...and you were right to leave me there.
Gibbs: I know.
Ziva: Well, the point is now I do too. I had forgotten who I could trust. We were a team, and I would like that again.
Gibbs: You need to talk to the Director.
Ziva: It is your blessing I came for.
(phone call)
Gibbs: Triple homicide. You need to talk to Leon Vance. I already told him to expect you. And he's not the only one you need to talk to.
(It was an incredibly sweet gesture giving Gibbs that chisel (which btw took me awhile to figure out what is was called lol. The slight smiles they had were adorable. I especially loved it when Ziva smiled because it seemed like Gibbs' positive comment brightened her up, like a kid seeking a father's attention. It was sad that Gibbs couldn't give her his blessing. He's still doubting Ziva's loyalty. :/ But I loved that he tells her he's not the only person she has to talk to. Hmm...wonder who he's referring to? ;)
McGee: Tony, let's go follow me.
Tony: No, no, no. You follow me. Don't fight your inner sidekick McGee, it's unbecoming.
McGee: I could say the same thing to you.
Tony: You know, you can't because everyone knows that sidekicks are shorter, and you--
McGee: --are exactly the same height as you.
Tony: Look, you're not going to make me say it, are you?
McGee: You think you're too good-looking to be the sidekick.
Tony: No, people think I'm too good-looking, specifically the women people.
Ziva: Actually, I find McGee to be the more handsome one. Nothing personal.
Tony: Hi.
Ziva: Hello.
Tony: So what are you doing here?
Vance: David, with me.
Tony: Well, that answers that question.
Ziva: I have to go.
(Bwahaha, loved the Tony/McGee banter, and how Tony just pretty much forgets the whole thing when Ziva appears. They look happy to see other. =D)
Ziva: I'm sorry, I overheard you two talking.
McGee: No, thank you. 'Cause that's extremely helpful, I mean we can pull the GPS history and look at the logs....and I'm gonna go do that after I get a Nutter Butter.
Tony: Taking the tour?
Ziva: I have my first psych evaluation.
Tony: Oh yeah, I always love those.
Ziva: I'm sure. You get to talk about yourself the entire time. I'm sorry, I meant-umm...
Tony: No, no, that's okay. No one's ever accused you of having tact. Sorry.
(telephone convo)
Ziva: I will, um, see you later.
Tony: I will be right here.
(First of all, who else laughed at McGee and the Nutter Butter? LOL. The Tony/Ziva stare down kills me. It was interesting seeing them try to act normal with their usual banter, but then they couldn't. Of course, this leads up to the bathroom scene!)
Ziva: Hello, Abby.
Abby: What the hell is wrong with you? How could you have doubted Tony after everything you've been through together? Did you really think that Tony killed Rivkin because he was 'jealous'?
Ziva: Abby, please calm---
Abby: You weren't thinking. That's what you weren't thinking! Although, I suppose that I could understand your initial reaction..you were in a emotion time for you and people act irrational...but to tell Gibbs that you didn't trust Tony? I guess I could also understand, you know, I mean he did just shoot your boyfriend...in your living room...to death. I'll give you that one. But this is Tony we're talking about here. All soft and goofy on the outside, but 100% rock on the inside, and after everything you accused him of? He risked his life to go save you! You should be ashamed of yourself. Even though in hindsight, it is starting to make a little more sense...either way, the ball is in your court. It is Tony: 1, Ziva, zilch. This is your move, and it better be a good one! God, I was so worried about you.
Ziva: I know.
(Presenting Abby Scuito, the one-woman show! LOL. Who doesn't love this girl, seriously. It's so nice to see how far Abby/Ziva have come since the beginning when Abby couldn't stand her. Now, they're such good friends. The banner was adorable and so Abby, hee.)
McGee: Hey.
Ziva: McGee. You taking a break?
McGee: I was on my way to the office, came to get a coffee, saw you sitting here, and thought I'd say hello.
Ziva: I was actually coming to look for you. I wanted to say thank you.
McGee: Did you come to the Navy Yard just to say thanks or--
Ziva: I am finishing my psych evaluation with Dr. Brackum (sp?) today.
McGee: Janice Brackum?
Ziva: Man hands, and the pretty eyes, yes. Why?
McGee: Uhh, nothing. Nope. So how's it going?
Ziva: I will not deny these past three months have been...a challenge, but it was all in the past, and the past is the past.
McGee: That's it?
Ziva: Yes.
McGee: So why are you avoiding Tony?
(I've always adored Ziva/McGee scenes, and this one was no exception. The smiley looks they had were adorable. I love the knowing look Ziva had when they were discussing the doctor. And another person wondering why she has been avoiding Tony. *hint hint nudge nudge* Zivaaaa. ;))
Tony: (Tony singing) How long have you been standing there?
Ziva: Long enough to see that you are well hydrated after your time in the desert.
Tony:
Ziva: I was not sure what to say.
Tony: You sure it had to be said in the men's room.
Ziva: I'm sure it had to be said.... When you shot Michael, I almost killed you where you stood.
Tony: I wasn't standing.
Ziva: No, you weren't. You were lying on the ground, without adequate backup, completely violating protocol--
Tony: And I double parked.
Ziva: Yes, I noticed. But that does not matter, just like it does not matter how it went down for Michael.
Tony: So what does?
Ziva: That you had my back. That you have always had my back. And that I was wrong to question your motives.
Tony: So why did you?
Ziva: I trusted my brother, Ari. I trusted Michael. I could afford to trust you.
Tony: I thought you weren't sure what to say.
Ziva: I guess I had a long time to think about things.
Tony: I'm sorry, Ziva.
Ziva: No, it is I who am sorry. (KISSSSS!) Your instincts were right, you were a cop---
Tony: I'm a cop! I think like a cop. Genius.
(This scene surpassed my expectations. I didn't even think we'd get a hug. A real, genuine kiss. FINALLLY! First of all, Tony singing that Hebrew song cracked me up as well as his double parked comment. I really like that fact that both of them apologized to one another, and how Ziva explained what was going on in her head. There's no doubt towards Tony's loyalty to her, and now she realizes that. I'm so glad that they addressed what happened. And gushing over the kiss again! Tony was frozen, he must not have expected that to happen. My shippery heart exploded at that moment. <3)
Ziva: We need to talk.
Gibbs: Sit down.
Ziva: When I came to see you to say I wanted back, you said it was the Director's call, but I sensed your hesitation. I sense it now. Even though I thought I made myself clear...I understand what you did in Israel--
Gibbs: Your brother, Ari.
Ziva: You know what happened that night. It was here.
Gibbs: I wanna hear it from you. You had orders to kill your brother to earn my trust.
Ziva: Yes.
Gibbs: That's a problem.
Ziva: You don't understand--
Gibbs: You're damn right, I don't understand.
Ziva: When I volunteered for that mission--
Gibbs: You killed your own brother, Ziva!
Ziva: --it was because I had hoped that my father was wrong about Ari, and I did not want someone else blindly following orders..I volunteered to protect him Gibbs.
Gibbs: You lied to me.
Ziva: No, when I told you Ari was innocent, I believed it. But yes, I would have lied to you. He was my brother, and you were nothing. I was wrong about Ari, and you. When I pulled the trigger to save your life, I was not following orders. I mean, how could you ever think that...he was my brother. And now he is gone, Eli is all but dead to me, and the closest thing I have.... to a father is accusing me.
Gibbs: Okay.
(I definitely bawled when I saw this scene. It made me so sad when Gibbs doubted Ziva, so I'm happy she set him straight. Cote was brilliant in this scene, from her eyes, hand gestures, slight quiver of the lips. You really can't go wrong with Zibbs scenes.)
McGee: Ziva's here.
(I loved the way the guys just sat down and went to business and how they were holding in their smiles. Yay, Ziva's officially back!)
