Okay, we'll see how smart you guys really are... ^_^
1. List the first line(s) of 10 5 books you really like. ( I don't have 10 favorite books. XD )
2. And then you all can guess.
3. When a book's been guessed correctly, I will post my opinion about it.
o1. The hottest day of the summer so far was drawing to a close and a drowsy silence lay over the large, square houses of Privet Drive.
o2. Emma Woodhouse, handsome, clever and rich, with a comfortable home and happy disposition, seemed to unite some of the best blessings of existence; and had lived nearly twenty-one years in the world with very little to distress or vex her.
o3. "Christmas won't be Christmas without presents," grumbled Jo, lying on the rug.
o4. The early summer breeze carressed the clouds gently through the sky, casting shadows across the hillsides as it whispered through the crops and grasses.
o5. It was a frosty morning this early March day in 1827, and Matthew Steed could feel the chill permeating from the cabin. His father, up half an hour earlier, had laid a new fire in the great stone fireplace below - he could hear the faint crackling of the logs and smell the wood smoke - but it would be another hour before the heat penetrated through the cabin and up to the attic loft.
Then I get to choose 3 people to do the same thing at their journal.
Me thinks: tmnact, noodle6680 and sarachi_91. [nods]
I doubt one of you guys can guess them all, but with your powers combined (Captain Planet moment) I think you can figure it all out. ^_^ Good luck!
