How on earth am I only just finding out about this now?! Serves me right for staying away from LJ for so long and spending all my fandom time on -scape- lol...they hate Gackt! XD
But gimme this moment to let me squee just a little bit... SAKURA IS GOING TO BE PLAYING DRUMS ON GACKT'S NEW ALBUM!! <3
No, I'm not ashamed to admit I frakking love Sakura, so screw all you Laruku girls still hung up on the whole drugs thing - it was like 2 decades ago! And screw all you Gaku batshits too - Sakura is a great musician, and y'all know he only wants the best for his music, so wait and listen for the awesome! :p
This will get me listening to Gackt again for sure *nods* About time he did something...lol
How weird it is that all things in J-Rock always seem connected and come back full circle though:
Tetsu was the lead singer of Malice Mizer ---> Tetsu got replaced by Gackt ---> Tetsu and Sakura were in the band Zigzo together ---> now Sakura is going to be working with Gackt ^.^

Obviously, Japan needs more musicians! They're all in this weird little twilight zone thing where you can connect every single one of them to each other via another J-rocker XD Though I'm noticing ex. Marisu members are some of the worst for it XD
But anyways - coolness on Sakura drumming for Gackt! <3 Just can't wait to hear this new album now! :D
