(no subject)
So I went to las Cataratas de Iguazu, and for those of you who don't know, they're the huge ass waterfalls in between Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina. It's pretty amazing that those things even exist... the earth is an amazing place. The park as a whole, however, made me feel like I was in a zoo. But we rode a boat underneath part of the actual falls and got soaked. It was great. Also, two twenty hour bus rides. Yeah, totally.
I'm coming back to the states in a little less than a month. August 17th is the day I leave Argentina, and I should be back in Marquette the 18th. It's weird to think about. I'm ready to come home in a lot of ways, actually, but still. I don't want to stop learning Spanish...
But I pretty much miss Ogden. And his donuts.
And like, people. But people are much more frustrating than my dog. I'm a little worried Hunter and I are going to have discrepancies, because I don't like some people and don't really want them in my house ever. And he lives with me. I just don't want to have to kill anyone, especially people my friend likes. But I might. But really, I pretty much just dislike them out of principle. That doesn't excuse them though... or make them any more welcome.
So, if I'm able, next year I'ma come back to South America. Start in Argentina (ex. BA again and Mendoza, maybe Tierra Del Fuego) and work my way up to Colombia, go to major places there (ex. Bogota and Medellin). I'd love that. It sort of rests on my ability to find one or more traveling companions and the proper funds, however.
My guts hurt and I'm kind of cold.
I also would like to snuggle, be it a boy or a pup or a kiddem. Or ALL OF THE ABOVE! Preferably.
