well it's good that you left the bunny.. now it can raise itself building up feelings of anger and revenge on humans.. so it'll go on a quest to kill humans, but accidentally go back in time and end up being the rabbit in the holy grail. But if you did take it then that would have ruined a good movie and also the bunny would have died because of some reason I haven't thought of yet...
