(no subject)
i started summer school yesterday. this session im taking econ103, which meets mtwr 9-11:50. its not sooo bad... yet, i guess. corey is taking the class with me so at least i have someone to write notes back and forth to. hes quite amusing... i brought goldfish with me to class today and he made a scene on his paper with the goldfish and drawings. nerd. and another thing we do is keep a 'click check'.. our teacher makes a clicking nose with his tongue on the top of his mouth at random times... quite a bit. yesterday he did it 37 times, and today he only did it 36 times. i know, we're nerds. lol.
after class today kel and i went job hunting. we turned in apps to gordmans, famous barr and bergners, and i brought 2 other apps back to the apt to fill out here cuz i didnt feel like filling any more out. trying to find a job really sucks. why is it so hard? grr. but i really need to be making some money... i dont have any.
i'm going home thurs after class. i have a wedding to go to on friday. its for a family friend who weve known for about as long as weve lived in des plaines. i havent really ever had fun at a wedding... and ive been to at least 4 in the past 3 years (thats quite a bit dont you think) so i'm not really looking forward to going. im kinda excited about wearing the dress i bought though. its cute. then i dont have any definite plans for the rest of the weekend, but i wanna hang out with erin, most likely gonna hang out with bk, maybe wanna hang out with chapp cuz i think hes home now. my mom said something about inviting my cousin over sat evening cuz she just moved to chicago. well see what happens with that.
i changed my layout... as you may or may not see, depending on if youre viewing my lj, or looking at someones friends page. im quite proud of myself cuz i had to figure some things out to get it to look the way i wanted it to. i think it looks good... if i say so myself (at least it does on my monitor.. dont know what it looks like on anyone elses). background info on the picture... dave is licking my toes cuz he spilled on my feet and i told him to lick my toes... and he did. great friend. haha.
