I was fired today from my job. And I don't really understand why.
When I asked about my employment's demise I was told it "just wasn't going to work out", I "didn't have what it takes" and that my boss had "set his expectations too high", along with other, more ambiguous answers. He told me I didn't do anything wrong, but here I am, fired (or as he put it, "let go"). OBVIOUSLY I didn't do something right, and for the life of me I don't understand why. Was I a bit clumsy at my job? Unknowledgeable? Yes, but...
I worked there a month. *Barely*.
I didn't "immerse myself in the store"? It's a fucking TOY STORE, a sales job for $7.00 an hour, asshole. I actually enjoyed that job, don't get me wrong, but what the *fuck* is that supposed to mean?
