I couldn't think about a Takaba soundtrack without thinking about Asami. In fact, this was originally supposed to be about their relationship, but this kind of took center stage.
Every road-Amy Grant
This song fits the circular aspect of their relationship. Just imagine Amy Grant singing with more bitterness.
Take Me Away-Lifehouse
I suspect that by the time his ordeal in Hong Kong is over, Takaba will be longing for Asami to take him away from the world, at least for awhile.
If I Never Knew You-Pocahontas
Corny, but it seems apt when you consider how Takaba's life might have turned out if he hadn't met Asami. Or Asami's life, for that matter. His obsession with Takaba has been growing lately. Again, it would fit better if there was more bitterness in the tone.
