No more teacher
So in the past week I've decided not to get my teaching credential. I took one part of the CSET (which has really nothing to do with teaching)..but realized that I should've taken all three part (12 subjects total) if I wanted to do student teaching in the Spring. But since I didn't...I would have to wait to do student teaching until the Fall. Lame!
There are just so many hoops to jump through to be a teacher and make shitty money. It's frustrating.
I'm working at Warmington Homes right now and I'm thinking that working for a home builder might be an interesting career. I looked for related jobs online and they started at about $35K/year. That's a lot of money to me right now, but I'd definitely like to move up in pay as I gain experience.
If I can cram all my classes in, I can graduate in the spring. I may just walk in the spring if I have like one more class that I'll have to take during summer.
