Today I was reminded that the smallest gestures are so important, and the little things in dating are so wonderful.
I definitely have had a good week. Dating around is interesting, I like not being in a relationship. I think dating this day and age and the societal standards that go with it are fascinating, and honestly, I'd like to experience a lot more of it. It's kind of nice to be intimate with several people at once, and be fine with not being attached to any one person. It's the first time in almost two years that I've allowed myself to truely be single, and I think I'm going to stay this way for a while. I'm very into the idea of love affairs, without actually having a monogamous relationship. I want all the crazy, intense passion, and the fun times that will come out of it, without actually worrying about the next time I'll see them, or whether the relationship is progressing or not. I want to act like I'm in love, not actually be in love. And I definitely think I've been doing that here of late. It's actually a really cool feeling to not be held back by all these restrictions. It's definitely been a Carrie Bradshaw week.
