7. I'm not a hugger. My best friend is. Annoyances ensue.
Ha! My best friend switches between hugger and non-hugger - depending on whether he´s been staying in America (hug) or Northern Europe (non-hug). Aaaaaargh!! I´m a non hugger of course.
I´m NEVER afraid of real dangers, but I was always scared of ghosts, vampires etc, till I started excessively watching horror movies ... Now only japanese ghost stories scare me, cause they´re so different in character from our traditional ghosts. I can´t tell what they want ...
1 - Do you have a large, demanding family like Kurt´s? Or not quite THAT big? It might be boring normal to you, but I think it´s interesting you have an autistic sister & how that works within a family context; whenever I´ve see or read something about autistic kids it was like the parents where mainly focussed on this one child and there wasn´t a lot of interaction between siblings & other family members.
9 - You HAVE to learn how to swim! What´s there to learn anyway? You can just "stand" in the water, keep your head above the surface, spread your arms & move your feet a little and you won´t drown. Water´s good.
My family isn't quite as big as Kurt's--there'll only six kids in mine. Don't worry--we make just as much noise and get into as much, if not more, trouble. :P My sister does get a lot of the attention, but then again she's the youngest so that would probably happen anyway, right? ;) But no, my parents are good at the whole balancing act and it does help that she's the youngest, because us older kids can help out.
I know I need to learn to swim! I guess the problem isn't so much that I can't swim--I can sort of swim, if I have to, but the real problem is that I'm terrified of water! I took swimming lessons for a while as a kid, but I'm reaallly short so the water was ALWAYS over my head when it wasn't for the other kids and I hated it so I never really learned and now...well, I just hope I never need to swim to save my life!
