Two shows and a whole lot of partying.
So again, full weekend. Two shows, Friday at the Roxy and Saturday at the Cobalt. Both went well. I had an absolute blast performing both shows even with the inherent trepidation that always hinders Cobalt shows. I think it was the best show I have ever played at the Cobalt. And it felt like it was one of the better shows that I would have seen at that venue(and that includes Nural...lol)had I been able to stand in the audience and watch myself. The crowd could have been bigger, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves, so that is all that matters.
The Roxy show was also good. We got a good reaction for our little april fools day prank of playing Avril Lavignes "Sk8ter Boi". We cut it short, and seguayed into Killing, but Lindsey put a tie around her neck and everything...it was good times.
After the show on Friday I went to a big house party in Beverly Hills. It was fun, I danced a little, and hung out goofing off a lot. Saturday I went to Saddle Ranch after our show. IT was Sheena's birthday, 21, you finally made it. I rode the bull and got trashed. Sunday I went surfing for the first time. Thank you Jonathan. It was awesome. I had such a fuckin' blast. I want to go again so badly. I did ok. Nothing all that good, but I think part of that was how exhausted and hung over I was. I need to try it at the top of my game, see what happens. That night I went to 7969 for Sarah's 21st. A little bit more dancing, good hang out times with Katie(my new best friend, lol), Lindsey and Jake.
I almost went surfing again this morning, but I figured on four hours of sleep I wouldn't be able to be any closer to the top of my game, and I probably wouldn't have made it to work on time. Oh well, hopefully I will get the invite again.
Now it is work. Gotta book more shows. Always more to do. Always...
