(no subject)
Christmas with the neighbours..... woohoo. This is the only time of year I truly miss everyone in my family.. aunties, uncles, cousins, grandparents...... I miss you all so much.
I never get to say how much tho... I'm too scared to talk to them on the phone.... I hate talking on the phone to them..... theres the delay, so you talk over each other, then theres the fact that you actually hear their voices..... which is crushing to me.. I miss the sound of their voices... I miss seeing them.. I miss growing up with my cousins.. my cousins were my best friends...
My aunty Denise is a crack up ... I remember her standing behind me, grabbing my hands and clapping them together singing a song about Daddy coming with lollies... I have no idea why.. its just one of the days near christmas I remember from..well... going on 8 years now...farkin hell
Anyway.. when you get to see your related family members.. no matter how broken or demented your family is... please just remember to love them unconditionally.. to take happiness from getting to see the smiles on their faces, the look in their eyes.... You may never get to see it again. Your family is important.. I know some people dont like christmas.. some people dont appreciate it... but if I had one wise thing to tell you.. it would be to remember your family this christmas.. dont be nasty to your little cousins.. or your alcoholic uncle.. or smack that bitch of an aunt with the moustache. Secretly you love them all... so tell them so. May be your last chance..
To my family (who will never read this journal unless I die and one of my internet friends tells them about it):-
I love you all.. always and forever.. "it takes a whole village to raise a child" .. you were my village of people.. many of you had a hand in how I've grown up, and I thank you.. you made me the person I am today..with all my values, morals and my outlook..... I'm sorry you've missed the past 7-8 years of my life.. I wish we'd had more time together.
