People say time flies. This usually alludes to days, or maybe even weeks. However, for me it's months that fly by, feeling swifter than a blink of an eye. I remenisce moving out of my dorm room like it was yesterday. It was May 12th. Its now almost Thanksgiving. Nostalgia usually gets the best of me, and its really an aesthetic thing. But in my case, I tend to long for things that I cant relive, and I just sit there dwelling on them. I want to rectify past mistakes that I know I cant, or I want to relive some of the best moments of my life, but it's impossible. This brings me to an incredibly vague and almost incomprehensible and profound question to answer. Why is the concept of time so difficult to define? Why can't we travel into the past. The obvious answer is the fact that matter cannot surpass the speed of light, because it would defy the laws of conservation of energy and mass. Rambling on and on can be fun, this was mostly pointless and retarded : )
