Day #4: A Song That Makes You Sad
You're only getting one this time, folks. Flipping through depressing music is...depressing.
There are lots of songs that kinda get me down--mainly, because they're all connected to some memory of someone or something. But, I didn't want to pick a song that was connected to a memory: I wanted to pick a song that connected to me. So here's what you get:
'Breathe Me' - Sia
I first heard this song when the Discovery channel used it for a promo a few years back, and my ears latched onto it immediately. Once I listened to the whole thing, the lyrics hit me really hard, connecting to me very personally, and it never fails to make me feel all melancholy/reflective.
I'll be back tomorrow with a song that reminds me of someone...and trust me, this one I've had from the get-go. :D
