Update Part Deux

Back from the doctor's, and here's the deal:

Good news:

-the doctor is happy with my progress;

-says as soon as the nerve pain goes away/gets manageable, I can start to be left alone (ie: my mama can go back home and cease taking care of me--poor thing! She's been great though!), and I can even start driving whenever I feel I'm ready!!!

Hi Midge! I'm glad you're improving. My husband had the same surgery in July and he was told the same thing. He's on Lyrica too. He also got a MRSA infection in the wound. Scary thing, that back surgery. Anyway, glad you're on the mend!

Sorry to hear that your hubby had to go through so much along with his surgery, but I'm glad that he's doing better! Thankfully, I've never had any wound issues, and the incision is all closed and looks good. At least something went right! :-) As for the rest of it all, I'm just trying take it, as cheesy as it sounds, one day at a time. It's easier that way, especially when dealing with this amount of pain. O.o
