I need a break

The past few days have been so busy I don't know where to start. After finally finishing a operation for the guild, I finally have some time off. While stealing a nice piece of bread and dried fruit from a miserly merchant, I saw a Kafra handing out books. Before I could steal one from her, she handed me one and said it was free. I'm not sure exactly why they would give something as interesting and useful away for free, but I am not going to complain. Sometimes things just seem to good to be true, and I hope this isn't one of those things. Because of this, I have decided now would be a good time to take notes about my travel to Alberta. Considering this will be the first time I've visited there in over seven years, a journal might be good. I don't even know where to start, everything I know will be different, and I know my family's residence will be in ruins. Grandfather never liked me living in Alberta as a kid... then again Grandfather also had an estate in Izlude. Maybe I'll go there after; either way I'm not sure what to expect.

According to one of my friends in the guild there has been refugees coming in from Amatsu. If that is the case, it'll much harder to steal, and even harder to get much done. None-the-less, I still have to go and find out for myself what has happened to the city I used to call home. Maybe I'll be able to return to Morroc before I get summoned for my training as Rogue. Speaking of which, I still do not know when they will send me notice, all I know is I have already been recommended to meet the higher ups. Either way, these next months will be interesting. I'm too tired to write more; I'll be arriving in Alberta in a day, until I know the situation completely, I'll keep a low profile.
