*sighs, snuggling Zanzibar close*
Mom found out about Zan today. She... wasn't happy. She said I can't keep him anymore.
But I can't just let him go, he'd never survive in the wild...!
*sighs and pets Zanzibar* I'm sorry, little one. *sad smile*

... maybe there's a zoo, or a wildlife preserve, or something?

*...gets an idea* Zax! Do me a favor? :D

*blinks* Hmm? Sure, what d'you want?

*holds Zan out to you* Take him back to your place? Just for a while, until I can figure something else out?"
Zanzibar: *tongueflicker*
Reply
*stops* *gapes* What? No! I can't! My apartment's too small, he'd get out or, or Sephiroth would come over and see him, with my luck, or... I can't!

You can. I know you can. You're smart and resourceful, and, and... and smart...
*puppy eyes* Please?
Reply
*flails, resisting the might of the puppy eyes!* But... but! I can't keep a Zolom! Can't you just... just make a place for him in the church for now? *however, this argument is made very weakly*

*puppyeyespuppyeyespuppyeyes!* Mom knows I hang out there, she'll be sure to check. Please? You're the only one I can depend on...

.... *wiiilts* Okay... okay, I'll take him. ... what am I supposed to do for him?
Reply
*beams and glomps him* Thankyouthankyouthankyou!
I'll bring you his rock and his sunlamp. He eats about a quarter-pound of raw meat every week or so... he'll let you know when he's hungry. *smiles* And he likes music and stories.

*weak smile* ... You're welcome.
*listens* ... Okay. Do I need to make him a litterbox or something?

You're the best boyfriend ever, Zax. *happy cuddle*
Well, a sandbox might be nice. He seems to like the sandpile in the church. But he likes pretty much anything warm and dry.
Reply
*sighs, smiles weakly* I try.
Alright. I don't think I have room for a sandbox, I'll get him some clean towels or something...

That would be perfect. *beams* Don't worry, it's just temporary. I need to find someplace where he can grow up safe and happy.
