I love pencil sketches. I have no idea why. What's fun about doing pencil sketches is picking and poking at it and being able to erase it and correct it when you don't like something. You can't do that with an inked drawing unless you use a digital program, but that's so artificial. It's also very troublesome and hard on the eyes. I always say, if you screw up on an inked picture, then you screw up the whole drawing. There's not much room for error. Whereas a pencil sketch, there's always room for error and you can easily fix it.
And with my TOG kick going, I have made a sketch that I might not be so proud of, but I had a lot of fun drawing.
