Sometimes, I don't think we even know half the risks were taking-
I don't even realize half the mistakes I'm making.
Independence isn't all it's cracked up to be,
especially when you've waited so long to be free.
And sometimes, your expectations are too high;
there's nothing you can do except continue to try
to wake up every day with a smile on your face,
and know that someday, you'll finally find your place.
i saw a couple of people in their 50s or 60s today holding hands. it made me smile :)
and, i've been thinking lately, that actions speak so much louder than words. sometimes, words just aren't enough.
