Merlin!verse: Piper accidentally conjured Merlin (merlinastrice) from his canon in mid season six. Her divorce from Leo became final, and Merlin has volunteered to step in and help raise Wyatt - the future king.
New York!Verse: Piper and Leo divorced in season six and never got back together. At Paige and Phoebe's insistence, Piper vacations, taking a break from active witchcraft. She finds herself in New York staying for longer and longer periods of time, sometimes with her son when she can manage it. She still has her powers, and the occasional demon crops up, but she otherwise has time to herself.
