Mamma taught me to share...
So, I and Cassandra are home with the Martian Death Flu today. She couldn't have gotten it from me as I didn't see her most of the weekend. I'm going to blame the flu on the MoLs. Yeah, yeah, blame it on them. (everybody else does.. *grin*)
She worked the Heavy table with Ceridwen, et al while I was Marshalling. I'm not sure what else happens at Ymir during the day. It's been so long since I wasn't a Marshal at Ymir I do not remember the last time.
I wish I could have made it to read the cool poetry from PoetaBoy's competition. Also, I didn't get to see any of the displays so I missed oogling the viking underwear. There was some nice fighting, though. The folks on my list were really helpful and easily went with the flow to re-order fights when people were running to the restroom, etc. My list went mostly smoothly.
I'm so happy that I got to see Roland, Olivier, and Alaric get elevated. (I was actually close enough to SEE Alaric....) I love it when great things happen to good people...
Oh well, gotta catch up on all the work that was due while I was away. Progress reports were due today, so I should be close when I get to school tomorrow (even through a number of the grades are sitting on my desk AT school....)
