directed to the Hyperion

I was thinking about the Hyperion's money problems and I think I might've come up with an idea to help out at least in the short term: A fundraising concert! A concert where the proceeds and potential donations go towards, in this case, the Hyperion.

I've helped organize a few at home and could do the same here. We'll need:
  • A venue: That room in the hotel where the prom was could work, hm, Lorne-san?
  • Performers: If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the Hyperion house several? I might be able to get a few of my clients to pitch in too.
  • Sound/lighting/stage/etc etc crew who'll do it for free or cheaply: Again, I might be able to wrangle some (connections!), but we could always take volunteers...hopefully ones who know what they're doing.
  • Advertising: I've got some experience in this; some of my PR work is blogging, I occasionally do the circuit, I've run press conferences... But even word of mouth seems to do really well among Tamers, and failing that I know people in marketing.

What do you think? Is this worth a shot?
