(no subject)
For some reason it still really hasn't hit me that I'm here for good. Maybe after getting some checks with my name and a Massachusetts address...maybe....
Went to the zoo today just for something to do. It wasn't exactly the San Diego Zoo or anything, but it was still really nice. All the animals were actually out at one point or another and they had WOLVES, which was awesome. Because, y'know, I like wolves. There were also three little baby jaguars and they were SOOO CUTE. I'm really stupid and forgot my camera, though, so I have no pictures, but it was really cheap so we'll probably go again at some point and I'll take pictures then of my weird obsessions with things that aren't human.
In other news, it's really freakin' hot out here. It hasn't really been bothering me too much because I've been spending all day next to a fan, but after going out and being in a few rooms without them, I realize how hot it is. And not normal hot, muggy hot. Yeah, not fun.
Also, today when we were just driving around doing nothing, we stopped to do something and there was a guy sitting in his truck blasting music really loud. This isn't something weird for me, but he was blasting Don't Stop Believing by Journey and it took all I had not to start laughing hysterically. WOW.
Okay, time for Mythbusters and sleep. Woo.
