So Far this season we have seen:

Topol in Fiddler on the Roof
Amazing!! Topol is the guy who is in the Fiddler on the Roof movie, which I have seen many, many times (well, the first half. Sissy and me usually stop watching after the wedding because it gets sad). It's his last tour. He was so very good. I loved it.
I give it: Five Stars

August: Osage County
Worst thing I have ever seen. Extremely contrived. I didn't have any interest in the characters or believe anything that was happening. It was just one horrible thing after another and it was all totally predictable. That guy cheated on his wife!! That guy tries to date rape an under aged girl (seriously, gross)!! It turns out that girl is dating her half brother because her father had an affair with his sister in law!! Dun dun duuuun! It was like a soap opera but I was suppose to buy it. Lame. Also, so very long.
I give it: Minus 5 stars

Xanadu
Totally ridiculous and knows it. I laughed so much and the music was perfect. I mean Strange Magic! Evil Women! I'm Alive! What is there not to love? Love the muses.
I give it: 4 stars

Legally Blonde
Adorable and fun. Of course, Omigod You Guys got stuck in my head forever after. I adore Emmett in this. It also had some great staging in it. I loved how they would flip the scenery.
I give it: 3 1/2 stars

Dreamgirls
Pretty good. It was hard to not compare it to the movie, so I am going to do that. Jimmy was my favorite in the play, he had a few tiny lines that totally humanized him for me (while in the movie I was kind of icked out by him, although I'm so sad when he dies. Every time). He was simply amazing. I love Lorrelle best after that. She is the one I feel the most for. As always I found Deena to be a bitch that won't just fess up. Admit you went for your friend's man, don't act innocent. Brat. The singing was amazing as was the acting. The staging was totally annoying. It was these giant screen that had things like car headlights going across a bridge or Paris skyline. It was totally unnecessary and annoying.
I give it: 3 stars (would have been 4 if not for the annoying staging)

Haven't Seen Yet:
Dreamgirls
Disney's The Lion King
