I'm getting used to car crashes outside the house, there's one every couple of months or so. It's a blind-ish double-T junction and there's always some idiot who thinks that he's invincible, especially late at night. People just drive right over it at 50-60mph and hope there's nothing coming. Last week we saw a cyclist get hit by a car on that junction. Judging by the volume of swearing he wasn't hurt, just shaken.
Today was a bit odd though. It sounded like two cars came tearing up to the junction and collided without giving way. I've seen this sort of thing before on that junction, normally the two cars clip each other, spin, and no-one gets seriously hurt. Well, the two cars must both have been stolen or something, the drivers have just run off and left their cars. I can't call the police because their number is busy. I've not gone out to look closer because there's a crazy old guy in the street yelling about the end of the world.
Just tried the police again, they're still engaged.
