unboxing event ..
So my order did arrive albeit, it was partial ..

My review :
The TV is lot lighter than it actually looks. I felt like I could lift it alone.
The TV itself looks gorgeous, and with the matte finish there is hardly any reflection of the ambient light.
I didn't have the HDMI cable, so a quick trip to Walmart was helpful. I got a 3ft one. Hooked up my ps3 to it.
The initial calibration was straight forward. The tuning of the channels did take a while though.
My initial reaction to playing a HD trailer that I have in Ps3 was .. "Oh shit" .. It was all grainy ..
Then I set the ps3 output right to 1080p, and with few calibration settings and quick visits to avsforum, I had the picture quality greatly improved. The HD channels look great, but the analog upconversion is still below par.
It been 2 days, and I am loving it so far. I am still waiting for my HT to arrive which might happen today, and that will complete the set.
