turkey sausage pancakes

I just had a pancake party..it was very successful, even if i do say so myself. Grace really wanted to help so after i made the batter, she flipped all the pancakes....my God she is good! her boyfriend is from Brittany so she is well trained. We made about 40... ish. They were all ready well before anyone showed up. Ana was first to arrive...armed with Bacardi. In honour of finding fresh mint at the farmers market on Saturday we made mojitos (probably wrong spelling)..they were a bit of a disaster... until i found some lemonade to sweeten them... The pancakes were a big successs. We had loads of toppings and enough for every one. I'm so glad so many food science people turned up...i really like the members of my department. They are slowly but surely being integrated into the international group and are very happy about this (probably because we have a hectic social life) We need more americans in our group!
Later Kevin and i forced our friends to watch D'unbelievabless.... their hilarity was sadly lost on my guests.
well anyway yay for pancakes...and rum...goodnight!
