T'was the night before Xmas. . .well, in the Arabian peninsula anyways

IBlessings and good tidings to all out there. A joyous Yule to my Pagan friends, merry Xmas to the Christians, belated best wishes for Ramadan to any practicioners of Islam, and happy Chaunuka to any Jewish readers.

I hail you all from the Arab province of the United Arab Emirates. As can be guessed I won't be home for Xmas this year after all. This year has brought many mixed blessings for me, the last of which will hopefuly end my enlistment in the US Navy. Because of some rather unsavory people in my department I no longer wear the title of 'nuke', instead I am now a pedestrian conventional mechanic. I won't bore any of you with details, but I will say this much; that was the final straw. My gloves are off, and I'm not going to play nice any more. I am officially declaring war on my current employer and I will use any and all tricks in my bag. Some bridges will be burnt, others detonated; such are casualties of this kind. But I ask you fear not, I am of sound mind and health. I ask if any of you would so kindly pray that this goes over quickly and with the least ammount of pain.
