"I don't wanna strip tease no more..."
So I'm officially the dumbest girl on the face of the planet, because I totally forgot that I had the orientation for the internship I'm working at this summer, yesterday. I feel horriblleeee. I emailed the guy apologizing, and I'm hoping it's ok, but I just feel stupid and irresponsible.
Spanish final today was ok. All I can say is, it's a good thing I have 5 years of Spanish under my belt because half of that test had nothing to do with anything we learned this year. I prob did OK, but it doesn't really matter because I have a pretty high average in that class. BLAH....tomorrow is the first part of a 6 hour english regents, and then I have a 3 hour math regents. Talk about exhaustion. I might actually die, or just start convulsing. No, but I'm actually growing increasingly more nervous for the math, especially since I'll already be tired after having english in the morning, and the math regents' are always challenging. ALWAYS!
...And since one of the big themes of this past school year was rejection, I might as well point out that I am not in fact a semi-finalist in that shining star thing. Oh well, life goes on, and I'm definitely glad I recorded because it's already starting to open up interesting, exciting doors (can a door be exciting and interesting?? I have no idea). But what can I say, I'm a strong cookie...you know, the kind that's been in your house way too long, and is so stale that after you bite into it, you check to make sure all your teeth are still intact. That kind of cookie. Maybe cookies are a theme of the year too. Who knows? I certainly don't.
...And I'm still waiting for a call from Build-A-Bear. Ahem!! I've done my part. I've filled out 2 apps, talked to the manager....what else am I supposed to do? They supposedly really like me, so what the heck are they doing, getting a second opinion from the bears?? I want to know if I have the job....GEEZ!!!
