Despite the craziness lately, and how tired I am lately of doing the same thing, something serendipitous happened to me today.
I was constantly given about a dollar off on everything I spent on. Cab fare to work today? Yay, and probably because the driver took a longer way than necessary to get me there, but I could have piped up and said otherwise. Lunch? Yay, and yeah, I have a discount card at the food chain, but I don't have to eat there. Cab fare home? Yay, because the driver this time doesn't have change, but not really, if he was willing to wait for me to retrieve some extra cash from my hidden money stash.
That's something, I guess.
