Though everyone here already tried to cheer you up I still feel like sending some reassuring words. It may be late and all, but I wanna give it a try if that's ok.

just don't worry too much.
Out of own experience I can tell there IS love that can stand all this and even much more and worse.
Being separated by who-knows-how-many kilometers doesn't mean that your hearts are ever that far from each other.

Isn't being in love equal to carrying a part of the others love wherever you go?

So even if your girlfriend feels lonely at times you can always tell her that.
In a song it says "But my love is all I have to give".
In the end that's true no matter if it's a long-distance-relationship or not. That's what it comes down too.
So I'm pretty sure there is no need to worry as long as both of you are true to your heart.
Keep on hoping and looking out for this precious love and all of us will wish you the very very best there possibly is. ^^
