if you go to http://cam.skizzers.org, you'll see what i mean. the interference from my monitor plus the awful lighting in my room make it so i can very rarely actually make a cam update, when really i would love to do daily or hourly cams. i usually do something clever, like the occasional great times earlier in the life of skizzers when we'd all figure out we had code red in our presence and would take cam shots of it. oh, and also the ninjas. but i want a better cam. so here we go.
i really prefer logitech, so let's just stick with that today. i'm going to look at bestbuy and see what they have on sale, and then see what places like pricewatch and newegg have.

logitech quickcam pro 4000. always a good bet. 1.3 megapixel, too. $100.
logitech quickcam web camera. seems user friendly. $80.
logitech quickcam zoom. seems just about like the last one, except has zooooooooooooom. $80.

newegg.com (if you haven't tried them, i LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM. do not buy anything without going there first) has cam #3 for $68, and cam #1 with bonus headset for $70. w00t.
aww, man, pricewatch makes me hot. for the $100 cam, i've found at least 4 people with the same cam for under $50.
also: does this sound like a good deal? it's a much better laptop than the toshiba i saw for $800 at office depot.
