today was...long.
in short: science olympiad at ULL was actually a decent time. i got a bronze medal for genetics, woop woop. the u-high team placed fourth overall, so we're going to state. i think that's pretty considering we got a week's notice instead of a couple months. matt guillot's robot that he made the night before totally got first place. who some beasts? by the way, new iberia high now knows bizzle as "yo-yo." they were chanting it, seriously. there's a whole long back story to that, but i don't feel like typing it. use your imaginations!
went straight from getting picked up at LSU after the olympiad to the ska shoooowwww. it was a very fun, sweaty time. people from central, people from u-high, people that i haven't seen in a while, even met some new people. i believe that a good time was had by 99% of the people in attendence. fatter than albert played a really good, really fun set. but alas, sue was not there to skank it up with us. WE MISSED YOU SUSAN.
LSU tomorrow with michael and eric for some fun julius caesar video making. then sierra club walk around the lakes/throw a frisbee party. it's looking like tomorrow's a gonna be a pretty good time also.
in summary: this has been one the busiest, most fun weekends in a long time.
