saturday, sunday, and monday have been fun.
saturday dusty (my big brother) and i rode out to themiddleofnowhere, louisiana, to take some pictures. it was pretty cool. i got a few good black and whites but the color haven't been developed yet. it doesn't look like much in words, but it was cool just driving wherever looked interesting and taking pictures.
the initial plan for sunday was to go visit mallorie at the walmart on siegen (yeah, the one with the crosses looming over it) because she was handing out sausage samples. hahahaha. that still makes me chuckle. so we did that, but also decided to have another one of our spontaneous downtown trips. ashley dropped us off and we skated it up. eric ollied the five at the centroplex, woop woop. some dudes making a documentary about downtown filmed us. it was pretty fun.
today we had a field trip, so i can't really complain. we went to the centroplex to see some plays. the cruel irony of it was that 15 hours previous we had been skating that same exact place and having a great time. now we were in our uniforms being herded into the building. i think this is an appropriate time to mention i love skateboarding. so the plays weren't bad, they were definitely better than sitting through classes.
plans had been made sunday to go swimming at michael's grandma's house, and more or less right after school we were all there swimming up a storm. ok, so more chivering because the pool was like 40 degrees than swimming. but it was still fun. after "swimming" we rode around the neighborhood on bikes without shirts. yeah, i bet you wish you had been there. quote of the day definitely goes to michael for this:
MICHAEL:(in the pool) ouch, i hit my head.
ERIC: on what?
MICHAEL: the water.
priceless.
