i'm in new york (long island to be more specific). it feels freaking amazing, like 70's or 80's during the day. a lot like the south's fall.
tampa kinda blew. mom and i got in a wreck on the interstate on the way back to tampa from ocala (my birthplace) and it was raining really hard on the interstate. we were just going along and this guy passed on our left and hydroplaned out of nowhere. his car was pretty messed up, but no one was hurt, so that was good. we bumped him just a little bit but the rental didn't take and damage, cause it was a troopa. so eric, tell josh that i have witnessed hydoplaning twice, neither of them while in a turn. or i guess he might read this. i dunno.
this computer has a weird font for the update box.
went into new york city yesterday and it was pretty sweet. went to MOMA and saw a bunch of cool art, including the dada exhibition which was pretty sweet. did some other touristy things, etc., etc., took some pictures, i might post them. saw dirty rotten scoundrels on broadway and jesus was it funny. it made me want to see plays a lot more often, even if they're not that broadway type stuff.
kinda bored here, but it's better than tampa. sometimes i forget how fun/funny family can be.
i'm ready to get back home again. it's weird, but just being away for a few days it starts to feel normal, and like home is waaaaay far away. there has been far too much of this feeling this summer.
summer reading isn't going so well. might not actually finish all of it, considering i haven't actually read an entire book yet. probably should get on top of that.
my aunt's wedding is tomorrow, and then we leave mooonnnnnndddaaaaayyyy. that'll be a good feeling.
and then the next day we leave for the BEACH the next day and i'm excited and it's gonna be spectacular. as in, a spectacle.
i miss home, with sue and eric and michael and the whole u-high gang and skating and my room and waking up in my boxers and not having to get dressed to go take a shower and driving and not taking too many naps and doing stuff and being familiar with where i am and a ton of other things.
although i do not miss louisiana's temperature and humidity. there's also a little beach a couple of blocks from my aunt's house that's fun to walk down to and skip rocks. yeah, skip rocks.
i got some dunkin donuts, and that is awesome. the blueberry donuts remind me of being like 8.
that's about it for now.
