So here we go again. A week has gone by and my truck is still not done at Bill Utter. Actually it is, but they are trying to pull some crap on me and I am not going for it. I don't think they realize it is my job to do what they are trying to do to me. I took it in for what turned out to be a bad ignition coil. No big deal, it should be covered under my warranty. Well, not in the eyes of my stupid service writer. He tried telling me it was going to be $900 to fix it all and I said okay. I then called my warranty company and they said it was a covered item. So I figured this guy is just dumb and wanted to try taking my money. I called him back and gave him the reference number and he said okay. Now he calls me and says that it will only be $600 or so since it was covered. This is because he was going to do some other work on the injectors that was not covered and put new spark plugs and wires on, and also a brake job that I decided to get done. In my head, I can add up that my deductible is $100, my brake job with parts is $150 and the random parts and labor for plugs would be $100. That comes to $350, not $600. When I got to the place today to get my truck, my service writer wasn't there and no one there seemed to have a brain so I had to leave my truck there yet another couple days because they don't know how to do their jobs. Oh well, that was my rant for the day. I find it hard to screw up when you are in a car dealership and you have set times and set warranties to fall back on. I am pretty sure this guy was just hoping I would pay my bill and leave, or he might have just made a mistake and I am pissed for no reason. I will hope it is the latter. I guess someone has to be screwin someone over in the world to make money. I am just not willing to be the screwee. Bastards!
On another note, Nate and I have finished our first week of working out, and I am only half way dying from it. Hooray for hurting body parts! Oh well, I like working out, I have just never had the will to go do it. Now that I am going, I think I will like it a lot and keep doing it for now on. Then I can be 'strong like bull."
