Just to confirm my "paranoid status"
This is bloody crazy........
Many of you are aware we have "dealers" living out back, but this ones great....
a couple of days ago, a police car parked outside the back of the place, no copper got out, just looked at the house in question, meanwhile I'm guessing there would have been someone tapping on the front door to "ask Questions" or was there? because surely that would be a waste of one car of coppers seeing as they didn't get out of the car and enter the rear door when openned by the coppers who would have gone in the front?
Anyway, The following day the area is leafleted, (just to warn the crims to behave for a short while IMHO) Telling all how the latest "operation" Hotspot will soon be operational in the area, and gives the usual local numbers, Police, local bobby, Neighbourhood watch, health center numbers, along with drug helpline, crime stoppers, and the local "Grass em up, get em an ASBO" line (Which IMHO only serves to make telltales feel happy for a short while after "having done their good deed for the day" though in all reality probably only recorded until a number of similar complaints come in).
Now to me, all this seems odd, now whilst I understand that w/o building 25 times the number of prisons we presently have, we cannot house all those that cause hassle, sell drugs, murder people, steal cars etc, but the idea of warning them, in order they will behave for a short while till the operation is over, just seems nutty and a waste of resources to me.
