A recent event (HD getting corrupted by Windows XP Service Pack 2) has gotten me thinking about backups.... while I'm actually going to be able to recover most of my important stuff, I'd rather not have to resort to extreme methods of getting them back if this happens again.

What backup solutions do you all recommend (software, methods, etc)?
