michele, i don't know anything about greatestjournal but i don't want to lose touch with you if you leave lj. please let me know how to stay in touch and include me on your new flist. do i have to log in because you will have a locked journal? do i have to join? all information with be appreciated. thanks! jeannie
Jeannie-don't worry-I'm not going anywhere yet and hopefully will not have to. Many people from lj, especially the writers have opened accounts at GreatesJournal on the off-chance that they are deleted without any warning by the admin of lj. I'm sure you've heard that this has been going on for a while now because of certain people who have been writing stories that have involved sex with minor/underage characters involved. As you know, none of us in the QAF fandom have done that-its mostly in other fandoms but the fact that the admin can just delete an account with no warning whatsoever is alarming, to say the least

michele, thank you for all the info, i appreciate it. i had read some of the comments from ljers regarding lj and how some people had been deleted. i thought it had been resolved. i'm going to use my lj user name and open an account at gj just in case. oh no...that means a new password! lol
i keep a cheat sheet with my passwords for my computer life but it's in code...sometimes it take me several moments to figure out what i've done!
michele, i just tried to send a message to you through your lj account, it didn't work so i'm trying here attached to a former message. i have a question...did you give your birth date, day, month and year to gj? i went to gj and saw your account, it shows month/day. but i wonder if you have to give a full date of birth and how you feel about the security of that. thanks.
