Is It Almost Summer Yet? It Doesn't Feel Like It.

So, I suppose I could say I had an enjoyable weekend. The roommate were all here and even though it rained and we had no company, it was eventful in the silent, nice kind.

Friday was mostly spent outside of class chasing a rodent from our yard and running around to the recycling plant and back, paying bills, doing a few more touches on my cosplay outfit and preparing for a few to stay over next weekend for the event.
I've been reading a bit more on logos and brand designs-- which reminds me that I have a library book due. Anime-related things has been on the low lately unless you count my recent bookcover for Diana Wynne Jone's, Howl's Moving Castle-- resulting, of course, in my watching it today to celebrate its completion.

I went to the doctor friday about my hip pain only to be told there wasn't much to be done unless I decided to go to an orthopedic surgeon. Last time I went to one was a year ago and they gave me physical therapy. Evidently, that has not beyond a temporary solution. I really don't want to have surgery if that would be the only option-- I really don't but the pain KILLS me! I couldn't even walk last week! So yeah, I'm still a bit miffed at having to pay a $25 copay for the doctors to only tell me to take more Asprin. ::eye roll::

Yesterday I went to my official meeting with the children's book author/family and began discussing future scenes. They set me to work on designing the main character they had in mind as well as working on the front cover. The meeting went over well and I'm very happy with the sketches of "Adam." Now to begin on the cover sketches.

Another new installment is that we are all out of soda and American cheese is the only cheese available. For any of you that don't know, I hate--no despise American cheese. >.< I'll be buying a kind I like tomorrow.

A last bit of news, my second paycheck comes in tomorrow, my grandfather seems to be in good spirits as of late without chemo, Animazement's in less than a week, there is now exactly only 150 days until I go see Phantom and only two weeks until I'll be in New York for BDA. Woohoot!

Now onto the recent work . . .  I'll add some more later as I convert them to jpeg. I'm too lazy and tired at the moment. :D
