Thanks! I can't say I was short on inspiration, though. We have close to 24 cans of Root Beer in the fridge alone. ::eye-roll::
My biggest hindrance was figuring out how to bring both types together while still keeping each word's own identity. Then it struck me-- have the bubbles float up and meld with the roots. Plus, it re-emphasizes the 'bubbliness,' so it was a double win. :o)

Thank you! The pen tool is one of the biggest bumps to overcome when transferring from a bmp program (photoshop) to a vector program (illustrator). I haven't perfected my skills with it yet, but I do believe I have a good handle on it.
