It disturbs me...
... it really does disturb me how many commercials/advertisements I have seen lately for toys with credit cards. Dora, Life, Barbie... Gah! Will the madness never end?
This is NOT going to teach your kids the value of money-- no way! If anything it does the opposite. Give me a Bratz doll that goes to the store and buys all these skanky outfits (and the runway... can't forget the runway that comes with everything nowadays) and becomes broke and has to deal with debt and bankruptcy-- THAT will teach kids the value of money!
