Bridal Show 2007
Was back to the hotel today to help out with the bridal show and the turnout was rather good. Although this area wasn't our expertise, we are all under the umbrella of Sales & Marketing therefore we were asked to help out. It always saddens me to attend weddings or be around during such events as I know it will never happen to me. The fashion show was nice and romantic, with the models in beautiful gowns and men in slick suits. The whole ambience was just so romantic in the ballroom. I was literally in my own world while watching the show.
The good thing was that our lunch was exactly what the wedding banquet would serve and although I missed it due to time constraints, I only managed to have a bowl of shark's fin to my delight. Arh, if only I had made it earlier to enjoy the food tasting session cum lunch. The other advantage is I'm entitled to a day off and I'm looking forward to clear it this month. Was bushed when I got home, and i went to nap a while after dinner.
